Alejandro Maddalena is a licensed bilingual mental health counselor and clinical supervisor with over 35 years of experience supporting individuals through mental health and substance use challenges. He holds credentials in both New York and New Jersey, including licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Master Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-M), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), along with international certification in alcohol and drug counseling. Alejandro also completed his Licentiate in Psychology in Argentina and has pursued postgraduate studies in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
Throughout his career, Alejandro has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, from psychiatric and general hospitals to community mental health clinics and private practice. His approach is rooted in a deep commitment to helping individuals reconnect with their sense of self beyond diagnosis, and his roles in both direct care and clinical leadership have always emphasized the human connection at the core of therapeutic work.
